Chawawad Water Hyacinth Bag   “Chawawad” brand was originated by “Baan Sanpamuang Water Hyacinth Product” established in 1983. This community was initiated by “Mrs.Wad Yayen”, female pioneer who has sustained woven handicrafts, the local wisdom of the ancestors. She applied water hyacinth, useless material which is abundant in local area to create various woven products. Water hyacinth fiber will be dyed by using natural, non-toxic materials such as lac, teak, butterfly pea, turmeric, mango, and mud. Moreover, water hyacinth is combined with cotton and genuine leather to create modern products such as tote bag, laptop bag. These materials, weaving technique, and decoration make Chawawad unique and suitable for all ages of customers: Phayao Province.
